Week 4

Work outs are getting much better.

Swimming...3/4 and 1/2 mile swims.
Running.......5 miles and 2 miles => 7 miles
Biking..........3 hours of spin class

The bike is here and should be able to pick it up today.
Can't wait to get out there and test it.

This week will be more running that biking and going to stretch the swim to get a mile in.
Runs will start with 6 miles this week and get a little longer in duration.
The weight is starting to come down just a little...the longer runs and swims and biking should start to burn off some of that fat.

and the swimming begins

Week 2 starts the next phase of my workouts. Went out and purchased my goggles and jammer pants for swimming, then headed to the gym to get my workout on.

Swam 20 laps of the pool approx a 1/4 mile. It felt great being in the pool but man did my breathing suck. I need some serious work getting the air regulated. Looking forward to swimming the whole thing without stopping. Seems like swimming a mile is a ways off. Thank gawd I don't have a race this month.

After the swim I grabbed a quick 5 minute steam, really cleared the head up. Then knocked out a 3.1 mile run on the treadmill for a time of 30:45. Pretty good and kept the heart rate below 171.
